It’s a highlight of the game you get to decide how to deal with every encounter. The role-playing system revolves around leveling up by training a variety of skills. The campaign will take you on a journey to discover who you are. However, once you’ve left the starting area, you’re presented a beautiful open world. Once you’ve finished your creation, a dragon interrupts your execution and provides the starting point for the experience. Tweak these details to your heart's content. You can choose from a large variety of races and preset looks. The game starts off with you customizing your character. Worth a playthrough. The beautiful, open world feels alive with plenty of characters roaming around, animals grazing, and even dragons gliding through the skies. Overall opinion: A good game with a good story that came out too early with too many familiarities to previous games. They feel programmed to repeat the same things over and over again, and many of the same voice actors can be heard throughout multiple characters. The biggest flaw however imo is the characters and their seemingly lackluster responses to everything. DLCs can remedy this in the future, but it seems to be a way to bait people to spend money on DLCs. At higher levels, the game becomes too easy. Combat is similar to Fallout, but tends to get dull and repetitive. However, all bugs I have encountered are easily fixed by restarting the system. There are still "bugs" that need to be worked out, as any game of this size is likely to have. The game tends to have issues with fitting the size of the television screen on Xbox systems, especially those of older model televisions. Exploration is the biggest part of the game, be it exploring caves, buildings or just the world of Skyrim in general. The storyline is creative and fairly good at continuing the continuity of previous Elder Scroll games.
The combat system is similar to practically any Bethesda game that has come out since at least Fallout 3. The graphics are perhaps not cutting edge, but they are certainly good. While it is nice to have totally unique games, using a winning formula for a game is also a good idea. Many people seem to discredit them for keeping it similar in feel to Fallout 3. Overall, I like the game and I give credit to Bethesda. Alright, time for a review based on what I observed through one long playthrough. The annoying part is, the civil war is about the length of the dragon questline! this game would get a 9.7 in my book now, thanks to that one little detail, but since metacritic forces me to round up my score, 10 it is! Also, if you really want to complain about the crappy interface of how you painfully select everything and how its built for a controller, do one of the two following things : get a mod, or use a controller, we all have USB ports! … ExpandĪlright, time for a review based on what I observed through one long playthrough. This game is a masterpiece, its the game that we have been waiting for in 2011, (Most titles this year have been bad to say the least) This game would deserve a perfect 10 if not for the super lame secondary main quest which is the civil war, you can kill the final boss in one hit, I understand that level scaling is bad in most cases, but in some cases things have to be level scaled.
